Instructions Once You've Registered
Now that you've registered, here's what you do:

Once you've enrolled in the class, here are some things you need to know...

First, swimming attire should be a sport type swim suit--women, no little bikini's and men, no
speedo's (jammers are ok). There are a lot of skills that require you to jump in and and climb out
of the water. You will also be working on the pool deck and using equipment. You will be in
your swim suit a lot and it will be wet, so bring sweats that are warm and can dry quickly.

Second, you will need to bring a lunch with you each day. You will need food and beverages
(water is best) to keep up your energy and keep you hydrated. Bring healthy snacks--swimming
makes you HUNGRY!

Third, we recommend that you bring multiple towels. Your towel may not have enough time to
dry while you are going in and out of the water.
The weather can be cold in the spring months.

Fourth, be prepared to swim and be in the water a lot, so make sure you eat a healthy breakfast
and a good dinner the night before. Again, bring snacks and a good lunch!

Fifth, if for some reason you are unable to pass the Pre-Course Test, please make sure to have
a ride home for that day by 12 noon. You will not be able to participate in the rest of class, so
please be prepared.
